The 3rd International Danube Cup Conference on Entrepreneurship Research will take place on 10–11 October 2025 at Széchenyi István University in Győr, Hungary. With the theme “Entrepreneurship Research from a Small Business Perspective,” this year’s conference is dedicated to exploring the complexity and relevance of the growth/development/survival of small businesses as well as their link to entrepreneurship research.

The Danube Cup 2025 Conference is a free of charge conference for all participants. The submission portal for the conference is now open, the submission deadline being the 1st of June, 2025. Academics, researchers, entrepreneurs, trainers, and PhD students / young scientists are invited to contribute their insights, research findings or work in progress as well as good practice cases in the field of entrepreneurship education and research.

Katalin Oborni (HÉTFA Research Institute) hosts the session “Women Entrepreneurship in a Fast-Changing World: Expanding Horizons and the Role of Female Entrepreneurs in the Global Landscape” alongside with Orsolya Gergely (SAPIENTIA Hungarian University of Transylvania) and Márta Konczos Szombathelyi (Széchenyi István University). They encourage submissions that push theoretical and empirical boundaries, embrace creative methodologies, and foster interdisciplinary approaches, paving the way for an inclusive and diverse future research agenda in entrepreneurship.
