The kick-off meeting of the CARES (Caregivers Advancing Regulatory Environment and Skills) Erasmus+ project was successfully organised by HÉTFA in Budapest on March 17-18., 2025. The CARES project aims to enhance the well-being of employees working in the social care sector, focusing on the upskilling and empowering care sector professionals, promoting their mental health and well-being, and improving their working conditions. The project aims to improve self-care practices, digital and sustainability competences in the social care sector through building a comprehensive capacity-building training program, and by providing mentoring, and self-learning handbooks.

Partners were present from 4 countries at the kick-off meeting, including the project coordinator CLNR – Center for Non-Profit Law (Romania), and the project partners Cooperativa Sociale Labor (Italy), Welfare Society Institute (Lithuania), and HÉTFA Research Institute (Hungary). The event’s main aim was to establish the main framework for project implementation and lay the foundations of good cooperation. The partnership had 2 excellent days of discussing several topics and co-working on several tasks necessary for effective project implementation.
