The closing event of the V4+WB RMA Network Plus project will take place in Budapest, Hungary on 23-24 January, 2025, targeting RMAs from the V4+WB region and beyond. The event is hosted by the HÉTFA Research Institute, the consortium leader of the project. The V4+WB RMA Network Plus project aims to further reinforce the network of Research Support Professionals, or in short, Research Managers and Administrators (RMAs) in the V4+WB region. Through intensified knowledge exchange and capacity-building activities it will contribute to the increased competitiveness of the Visegrad Four and Western Balkan countries in Research and Innovation.
The main focus of the event is to present how the situation and status of research management has changed during the time of the project in the 4 Visegrad and the 3 Western Balkan countries, what are the improvements, opportunities and the achievements in the field.
Some policy makers from the European Commission, ministries and funding organizations and institution leaders will also be present at the conference, who will give an overview of the present state and further initiatives of research and innovation and research management from their perspective in the form of presentations and a roundtable discussion.
On the second day of the conference there will be a workshop organized by NOVA University of Lisbon with the title ’Advancing Research Management Training in the V4 and Balkan Regions: Needs, Insights, and Future Collaborations’ as part of the RM Roadmap project.
