We are delighted to share the latest updates from the third Training School held as part of the PROFEEDBACK COST Action in Serbia. Hosted at the Institute of Economics in Belgrade from 9-11 July 2024, the training brought together participants to delve into qualitative and participatory methods for evaluating public policies and programs. Three colleagues from the Division for Public Policy and Impact Assessment of HÉTFA Institute also participated in the training, further enriching their knowledge and experience.
The PROFEEDBACK COST Action is committed to enhancing networking within the EU’s program evaluation community, elevating the research profile of evaluation policy, and increasing its impact on policy-making. During the training, attendees engaged in interactive sessions and group activities, gaining insights into evidence-based policy-making, the policy cycle, and the complexities of qualitative evaluation methods. The trainers of the event included Sari Rannanpaa from NordEval Oy in Finland, Dr. Olha Krasovska from the Ukrainian Evaluation Association, and Dr. Marijana Sumpor from the Croatian Evaluation Network. A publicly available summary of the training is being prepared and will be published soon on the PROFEEDBACK website under the title 4th Profeedcourse.
