Head of Division for International Cooperation, Ms Virág Zsár will be involved in an online workshop as speaker held in the frame of 18th European Week of Regions and Cities on 7 October.

The session titled ‘Unlocking Women’s Entrepreneurship Potential’ will enable participants to discuss key issues concerning the current status of female entrepreneurship support within the EU, Policy Agenda for supporting women entrepreneurship that was developed for the Danube region as well as examples for support measures and good practices for fostering women entrepreneurship from the EU and different member states. The moderator of the workshop will be Dr. Sanja Popovic-Pantic, Chair of the EEN Sector Group Women’s Entrepreneurship. Further speakers will represent WEgate Community by Gabriela Kostovska Bogoeska; European Women’s Lobby and Business & Professional Women by Amélie Leclercq; and Innovation Region Styria by Sandra Weiß-Wallner.

We were pleased to accept the invitation of the Regional Agency for Entrepreneurship and Innovations (RAPIV), which is a non-governmental non-profit organization aiming to stimulate regional economy, through the development of entrepreneurship and innovations. RAPIV also coordinates the Working Group “Female Entrepreneurship”, Priority Area 8 Competitiveness within the EU Strategy for the Danube Region, and leads the Interreg Danube transnational project Women in Business. Since entrepreneurship education and support are important topics within HETFA’s activities – mainly due to the project ifempower – we are proud to have RAPIV as our strategic partner and cooperate with the agency.
