In the spirit of strengthening the relationship between science and everyday life, the HETFA Research Institute will continue to actively participate in the preparation of the Researchers’ Night program series. The consortium consists of RCISD (as coordinator), the Women in Science Association (NATE), the Scientific Dissemination Society (TIT), University of Óbuda and Ericsson Hungary Ltd. Furthermore, as in previous years, our staff is again preparing an impact assessment of the event.
Researchers’ Night has been held every year since 2005, both in Budapest and in countryside locations. The main goal of the successful program series is to promote the research profession and increase its recognition to a broader public. In view of the coronavirus epidemic, the event will take place a little later than usual this year, on November 26-27 instead of September, but envisages a diverse range of programs, interactive presentations, exhibitions and quizzes.
