Ms. Vera Iváncsics, groupleader of the Urban and Regional Development Office of HÉTFA Reserach Institute spent one month in Magdeburg at the energy agency of the Saches-Anhalt province (Landesenergieagentur Sachsen-Anhalt, LENA) with the Pioneers into Practice (PiP) scholarship.
Associate of HÉTFA got an insight into the daily work of the agency: how they incite the local municipalities and enterprises to implement energy-efficient measures and also to promote renewable energy. She also examined the best practices in the field of climate maintenance.
The Pioneers into Practice (PiP) is a program providing half-year training and international exchanges. They accept applications from potential participants and host institutes. The aim of the program is to provide inspiration to professionals working in the area of environmental and climate protection through international exchange.
