In this study – which was ordered by the Economic and Social Council – we reviewed the lessons of the usage of the Cohesion and Structural funds. We focused on the usefulness and efficiency of these funds, and on the conciliation of the developments and the sectoral policies. We summarized the results of the most important assays, evaluations and the debates appearing in the press. We analyzed the data of opinion polls and monitoring data of the supporting system with regard to the topic.
