Virág Zsár, Head of Division for International Cooperation and Fanni Bobák, Senior International Expert will represent HETFA Research Institute and the project ifempower at EuroScience Open Forum in Trieste next week.
Colleagues will hold a workshop with another three experts from ifempower project team under the title „How to capture the entrepreneurial potential of women? Demonstrating various approaches in education and in business to boost entrepreneurial mindset” on 5 September 2020, at 8.30-10.00 AM. The session will be hybrid both from the side of speakers and participants, which means physical and online participation are available. The registration for the event is still open.
The ifempower session will be part of the Entrepreneurship Education in Careers Program with the aim of highlighting the importance of entrepreneurial mindset and entrepreneurship education in higher education institutions and businesses, focusing particularly on potential female entrepreneurs. The relevance of the focus is deriving from the fact that men are 2-3 times more likely to start a business than women and entrepreneurship education does not deal with possible hindrances of women and strategies to overcome them so far.
The workshop will be based on the experiences of ifempower, and built around four main parts: a) main findings of the project’s research study ‘Women Entrepreneurs in Europe: Challenges, Strategies and Policies’ b) ifempower module which was already tested in the Spring Semester of 2019/2020 c) ifempower mentorship programme and the importance of such initiatives d) ifempower intensive training week.
