Nataša Jakominić Marot is Head of the University Centre for Research and Innovation. She has almost 20 years of experience in EU projects and innovation. She has extensive experience in preparation, implementation and supervision of international projects. Nataša coordinated and/or actively participated in 60+ projects co-financed by the EU. In addition, her responsibilities include large infrastructural projects co-financed by the European Structural Funds, with an approximate value of 50mEUR. She has also been engaged as an external expert for project evaluation within several centralised and decentralised EU programmes and IPA.
Nataša is a member of several working groups and managing boards in her fields of expertise. Upon invitation by the European Commission and the European Parliament, she has been the last Croatian representative in the European Union Visitors Programme (EUVP) in 2012. She was awarded several fellowships and scholarships, including that of the Council of Europe for Young Leaders. As a total fan of life-long learning, in 2013, she completed her MBA in Vienna and participated in a Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education programme and is currently a PhD candidate in Sustainable Development.
