My name is Nermin Palić. I have a master’s and bachelor’s degree in traffic and communications engineering, and I am currently in the final year of my doctoral studies (Ph.D(c)) at the University of Sarajevo, at the Faculty of Transport and Communications, majoring in road traffic, where I’m currently working on traffic noise impacts and monitoring. In my 10 years of experience, I’ve done much research on sustainable urban mobility topics (link Google Scholar, Publons, ResearchGate). During my classes (on course Traffic Planning in Cities, Technology and organization of urban public transport, Traffic Safety and Traffic protection (ecological aspects)) I promote the concept of sustainable urban mobility. I have organized student conferences at my institution (link). Thanks to ERASMUS + projects, I had the opportunity to give lectures at several higher education institutions across Europe: Spain, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Turkey, and others. I have also attended various seminars/webinars, conferences, and professional specializations on sustainable urban mobility and obtained certificates from recognized professional organizations (TUMI, CIVITAS, etc.). I am also a member of the CIVINET network in front of my institution University College “CEPS-Center for Business Studies“, a member of the Association of Transport and Communication Engineers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a friend of the ELTIS organization, and a correspondent on the mobility platform SUMP-Central.
