I received a Ph.D. in biology from the Uppsala University, Sweden in 2003. Afterwards, I worked in the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw (IIMCB), as a senior post-doctoral fellow in the laboratory of Prof. Marta Miaczynska. Then I was a research associate at the University of Geneva, in the laboratory of Prof. Jean-Claude Martinou. I have experience in cell and molecular biology, RNAi/CRISPR, imaging, high-throughput screening and scientific writing. Eventually I made a transition to project administration, in 2019/20 working in the grant office of the International Research Agenda Programme ReMedy at the Centre of New Technologies of University of Warsaw. Since December 2020, I work in the Scientific Coordination Unit of the IIMCB, where I support scientist in preparation and submission of applications for contained use of GMO and GMM, assist in applications to the Local Ethics Committee for Animal Experimentation and issue personal permits for working with laboratory animals. I participate in reporting and scientific evaluations. I advise on the ethics section within grant applications, oversee material transfer agreements, assist in recognition of foreign diplomas (nostrification). SI provide administrative help in applications for individual awards and in obtaining academic degrees. I assure that the research is performed in accordance with the law and the best practices. My main interests are research integrity, ethics and intellectual property rights.
