Iveta Hermanovská has been National Contact Point and National Expert for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), European Research Council (ERC) and Health, demographic changes and wellbeing (SC1) for Horizon 2020 since 2013 and National NCP Coordinator for Horizont 2020 since 2017.
Before she has been managing European Science Foundation (ESF) agenda for more than 12 years at the Slovak Academy of Sciences as National coordinator and has been coordinator of EUROCORES schemes projects in all scientific disciplines for the Slovak Republic. She has been project manager responsible for legal and financial management (ERA – NET TRANSCAN), member of Steering Committee (ERA-NET TRANSCAN) and state advisor in EU matters and lifelong learning.
As a member of ESF Member Organization Forum on Publicly Funded Research and member of High-Level Expert group of European Medical Research Council ESF she participated at Science Policy Briefing – Health Research Classification Systems – Current Approaches and future recommendations. She has been involved in advisory activities in EU issues and initiatives and implementing EU Strategy for Danube region in the Slovak Republic.
