I have built my career, in research management and development, working at the top UK universities. During the various stages of my career, I have gained valuable experience in:
– developing impact strategies for grant proposals;
– shaping and influencing research policy and work programmes in Horizon Europe (ERC and Widening);
– writing grant applications (ERC, H2020, British Academy, Leverhulme, ESRC, AHRC and etc.);
– overseeing the preparations for Research Excellence Framework (REF) at the Faculty level;
– understanding funder regulations and reading between the lines;
– peer-reviewing scientific proposals and providing non-specialist feedback;
– writing and reviewing research policy strategies;
– managing budgets and projects;
– leading and training teams.
