As we recently posted about it, a new Horizon Europe project has been launched with the coordination of HETFA Research Institute, named ST(R)E(A)M IT – Streaming Girls and Women into Steam Education, Innovation and Research. STREAM IT aims to initiate change about the persisting gender inequalities in STEM education, research, and innovation to contribute to the implementation of the ‘The European Manifesto for gender-inclusive STE(A)M education and careers.’ The envisioned aim of the project is achieved by empowering underrepresented groups in STEM, promoting gender-inclusive career paths and supporting STEM education providers through knowledge sharing, and capacity building to remove gender-based barriers in STEM.

Visitors can now access the project website through this link, where they can find news on the project, the partners of the ST(R)E(A)M IT consortium and the finalised project results. To stay updated about the latest news of ST(R)E(A)M IT, follow the project’s LinkedIn page.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 101131843.
