The Erasmus+ project called ifempower coordinated by HETFA has been running for 1.5 years. During this time, several outputs were already finished, some are still under preparation, but the most important milestone is just before us – to launch the international ifempower curriculum backed by mentorship programme at four partner universities during the second semester of 2019/2020. This curriculum consists of 6 courses, and strongly relies on project-based learning.
In order to make the whole concept familiar to many, but even more to foster knowledge exchange in the field of nurturing entrepreneurial spirit and mentoring, the second stakeholder event will be held on 5th February 2020 in Porto, Portugal, under the title ‘How to nurture the entrepreneurial potential of women? Knowledge exchange & synergies in the field of female entrepreneurship focusing on successful mentorship and counselling programmes’. The public event also aims to discover possible synergies between participants, represented projects and initiatives.
We strongly believe in the exploitation of synergies and networking, which was already proved at the first ifempower multiplier event in Seville, September 2019, where over 50 participants from 11 European countries took place.
This time in Porto we will have a whole-day-long multiplier event with various programs: presentations & pitches for learning about the projects & initiatives; workshops for further brainstorming on mentorship and counselling programmes; and world café to learn and inspire.
