As we have announced previously, HETFA is involved as consortium partner in the project called „Measuring What Matters to EU Citizens: Social Progress in the European Region” financed by DG Regio (Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy).
The first meeting for regions as main stakeholders was held in February 2019 in Brussels, which is followed by series of events in the following months including two virtual meetings. More details about the events and the project itself is available on the new website.
HETFA considers this project an important professional opportunity: aiming to empirically test how the EU Regional Social Progress Index could be used to inform and improve policy-making in relation to policies supported by cohesion policy. Furthermore, mapping various good practices and their international applicability is an important motivation for us.
