Mr. Zsolt BARANYAI
Sociologist, working for HETFA Center for Analysis since July 2012. He received his MA in 2012 at the Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest. Worked on various projects on urban, minority and employment research areas during his studies. Wrote his seminal paper on the links between urban rehabilitation practices in Budapest and retail trade.
Ms. Fanni BOBÁK
Expert of International Studies, project manager. Responsible for proposal writing and project management at HETFA since March 2016. She recieved her MA degree in International Relations with a specialization of cultural diplomacy at Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 2016. She got her BA degree in the same faculty at Corvinus University of Budapest in 2014. During her studies she was an active member of Széchenyi István College for Advanced Studies. She is fluent in English, and she is familiar with German and Russian.
Ms. Katalin BÖRDŐS
Economist, has been working at Hétfa Research Institute since April 2016. She acquired her Master’s Degree at the Corvinus University of Budapest, and she is also an alumna of the Széchenyi István College for Advanced Studies. Between 2012 and 2016, she worked as a junior research fellow at Budapest Institute for Policy Analysis. Her main fields of interest are labour economics and employment policy as well as data analysis and quantitative methodologies, including counterfactual impact evaluation and microeconometric models.
Mr. László CZALLER
Geographer, has been working for HETFA Research Institute and Centre for Analysis since March 2012. He received his MSC with honours in 2013 at Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest. Currently he is a Ph.D. student at the same university.
Mr. Gergely FAZEKAS
Expert of International Relations. He studied at Eötvös Lóránd University of Budapest (International Relations BA) and has been working for HETFA Research Institute and Center for Analysis since October 2012. In his thesis he examined the the evolution of Framework Programmes leading up to FP7. He is fluent in English and familiar with German.
Mr. Zsolt FŐZŐ
Economist, political scientist, working at HÉTFA since 2012 as a junior analyst. Besides his studies at the Corvinus University of Budapest and at the Central European University, he was and active and also board member in the Rajk László College for Advanced Studies. Primary field of interest is economic development, development policy of the EU and different spheres in studying political economy.
Ms. Vera IVÁNCSICS
Landscape architect MSc, expert of International Relations and the European Union. From September 2014, she works as an analyst at HETFA. Besides her studies at the Szent István University and Corvinus University of Budapest, she was an active member of Széchenyi István College of Advanced Studies. Before, she worked in the Budapest Cultural Observatory, then as a competitiveness analyst in the Ministry of National Economy, also gained experiences in Saxony Anhalt State Energy Agency, Germany and as an intern in Főkert Ltd. During her work, she participated in international research projects, in the design and assessment of governmental program supporting the reduction of administrative burden on enterprises, furthermore, she participated in the development of strategic documents for the EU 2014-2020 developmental period. From the last years she manages urban and regional development projects like tourism, local economy, green city, rehabilitation of brownfield areas.
Ms. Zsuzsa RADNAI
Expert of International Studies, has been working at Hétfa International Office as a project manager since April 2016. She acquired her Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations at ELTE Faculty of Social Sciences. Then she graduated at Pázmány Péter Catholic University, International Relations MA program with specialization of Cultural Diplomacy and European Integration. Since 2011 she has been dealing with provision of European Union information, in addition, her field of interest is the Hungarian-Spanish cultural relations. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Ms. Zsuzsa REMETE
Public administration manager and economist in public policy and management. Has been working for HETFA Center for Analysis since September 2012. She received her MSc in economics in 2011 at the Budapest Corvinus University. Main field of interest is institutional economics, regional policy and sustainable development. Previously she worked as an analyst in the Ministry of National Economy.
Ms. Kata RÉSI
Sociologist, has been working for HETFA Research Institute as a junior analyst since December 2012. She got her MA Degree in Sociology at the Budapest Corvinus University. In 2011 she worked as a research assistant for P und P Sozialforschung in Austria. Speaks English and German fluently.
Mr. Zsolt SZENDREI
Architect, urbanist. Working for HETFA Center for Analysis since January 2015. He received his MSc in 2011 at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Faculty of Architecture. Between 2011 and 2014 he studied at Csonka Pál Doctoral School at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, his PhD research is about the spatial retail structure of downtowns and the changes of ground floor functions. He speaks in English and he is familiar with Spanish.
Ms. Kinga TÓTH
Economist, sociologist, has been working for HETFA Research Institute and Center for Analysis since February 2017. She received her BA degree in Sociology and her Msc degree in Economics for Public Policy and Management at Corvinus University of Budapest, while she was also active and board member of College for Advanced Studies in Social Theory.
